Bla Bla was founded by dj/producer/conceptualist Daniel Sanchez. His love and passion for electronic music resulted in a great desire to share this feeling with the rest of the world. Bla Bla started out with electronic music events in the very heart of Amsterdam. They take place every last Saturday of the month in club Studio 80. The Bla Bla nights are the perfect example for what Bla Bla is all about. Bla Bla events brings you the newest and best sounds from hot (new upcoming) artists from all over the world. But Daniel Sanchez desire for sharing his sense for good music went beyond just doing events. Shortly after having succesfully passed the stage of creating a solid name for the concept, he made his next step, Bla Bla records. Bla Bla records was started last year and already records are going out like crazy. Releases come out every month and we also do a Bla Bla limited 10 inch release every two months. The releases contain a new dancefloor sound that gives a new dimension to electronic music.

In its 11-year history, the Bla-Bla Café served as a training ground for what later became some of the best and most well-known and well-loved comics, actors, musicians, mimes, singers, and songwriters of our times. Entertainers like Jay Leno, David Letterman, Robin Williams, Al Jarreau, and Sting performed there before anyone had ever heard their names, 200+ songwriters hung out there-performing and listening to each other while they were writing some of the most popular songs of the day and preparing to write hits that we listen to and enjoy now, comedic actors jumped up on open-mics to read introspective poetry, and musicians played-out with their own arty/creative rock and jazz groups each night and then recorded million-seller commercial records in studios during the day.
