Child sexual abuse is a silent epidemic throughout the United States and the world, creating social havoc–for the children, adult survivors, and society. It can be prevented and it can be treated, but a conscious and sustained effort to ensure the safety of the children is both missing and essential. Stop the Silence works with individuals, community- and faith-based organizations, companies, and governmental organizations in various communities—locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally—to raise awareness and funds to comprehensively support and conduct programming.

The Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute is a national, science-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse through early diagnosis and effective treatment for people at risk to molest children or pedophiles.

Children's National Medical Center is a pediatric hospital in Washington, DC which is a leader in developing innovative new treatments for childhood illness and injury. Children's has been serving the nation's children for over 140 years.
