The Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation (ORMF) is governed by a vision for the future of the moraine as a vibrant, healthy ecosystem that is widely acknowledged as a model for successful preservation, protection, and restoration of landscapes; where land owners, users of the Moraine and all levels of government are actively engaged; where a scenic trail along the Moraine is secured; and where the Foundation is regarded as an essential partner. The Moraine for Life website is managed by ORMF.

The Oak Ridges Trail Association is a charitable, membership based, volunteer organization which manages and maintains over 200 km of trail across the Oak Ridges Moraine in Ontario, Canada. Its prime objective is to plan, promote and create public foot paths on the Oak Ridges Moraine from the Niagara Escarpment in the west to the Northumberland Forest in the east.

The Moraine for Life: Oak Ridges Moraine website is dedicated to all of the people and organizations whose hard work has preserved the moraine. Its purpose is to inspire the effort and commitment needed to conserve the moraine for life through information on the moraine, the Oak Ridges Trail, the Oak Ridges Moraine Foundataion, and providing ifnormation on the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan and Act.

The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) promotes Great Lakes and other large lakes research and disseminates scientific information through publications and conferences.
