Beacon Academy of Nevada is where, through our state of the art online high school program students can obtain their high school diploma from an accredited online high school. We fill the need for students in Nevada who seek an alternative choice for their public education and wish to achieve their high school diploma online from home. We are a public, statewide, online virtual charter school sponsored by the Nevada State Board of Education. We provide online classes so that a student can attend high school from home or high school from anywhere. This is ideal for home school students who want to switch to an alternative public education where they can still attend school at home. Beacon Academy is a no bully zone, there is no bullying either in person or virtually. We offer student services, virtual tutoring, live tutoring, free therapeutic counseling and social work for students and their families, virtual education from Beacon is available to students in Clark County, Washoe County, Nye County, Churchill County, Esmeralda County, Lyon County, Humboldt County, Pershing County, Lander County, Eureka County, Elko County, White Pine County, Storey County, Douglas County, Mineral County, Lincoln County, and the Nevada cities and towns of Las Vegas, Reno, Pahrump, Ely, Goldfield, Winnemucca, Elko, Beatty, Hawthorne, Fernley, Fallon, Sparks and Tonopah.
