Only Make Believe is a non-profit organization, founded by Dena Hammerstein, that creates and performs interactive theater for children in hospitals and care facilities. Three professional actors bring a trunk full of costumes to a site for six weeks and perform original plays for children living with chronic diseases and disabilities, such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, chronic depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress syndrome and autism.
